NFL is the latest sports league to announce a partnership with an official betting partner. It announced a multi-year agreement with DraftKings, FanDuel, and Caesars Entertainment to provide its viewers with official league data. The deal gives the companies exclusive access to NFL content and opens the door to the integration of betting content into NFL Network broadcasts this fall. It is unclear if the NFL will continue to sign deals with betting partners after the third year.
In addition to becoming the official betting partner, the NHL has signed new multi-year deals with BetMGM and FanDuel. BetMGM will become the official betting partner for the Knicks, Rangers, and Madison Square Garden in November 2021. The partnerships with both Betway and FanDuel will also extend to Canada, which legalized sports wagering last summer. As a result, fans can look forward to more NHL content, including prop bets and live odds.
The partnership will include branded fan experiences during the Memorial Tournament. This will enhance the golf fan experience for fans and bettors alike. Although the PGA Tour hasn’t yet announced its plans to offer official betting, it has leveraged its influence to become the official betting partner for the entire tour. In addition to betting on the competition, betPARX will have access to PGA Tour intellectual property and marks. This allows the company to develop new products, promotions, and experiences for fans.
