In its bid to boost its popularity among sports fans, the NFL is making official betting partnerships with three different sportsbooks. The three companies will gain exclusive access to NFL content and data in return for promoting their relationship with the league and tying their brands to their statistics. If the five-year deal works, the NFL will earn nearly $1 billion over those five years, but it can opt out of the agreement after three years. That means sports fans will get more opportunities to bet on NFL games this season.

In November of 2021, BetMGM also became an official betting partner with the Knicks, Rangers, and Madison Square Garden.
