The PGA TOUR and DraftKings have announced the expansion of their long-term relationship, which will include both the designation of DraftKings as the first “Official Betting Operator” and the addition of daily fantasy games for all PGA Tour events. In July, both companies will be the first official betting partners. The relationship will be mutually beneficial for both parties, as it will give fans the opportunity to place bets on the events that matter most to them.

Although the NBA isn’t yet officially licensed to provide betting services, the MGM books will be allowed to use its logos on oddsboards. Other leagues may pursue a similar sponsorship deal with the NBA and other sports leagues, a trend that may continue in the near future. In addition, the NBA is reportedly getting calls from other sports leagues looking to make their own betting offerings. In-game betting in the NBA is expected to be huge in the U.S., so there’s no reason why the NFL can’t follow suit.
