OPR is updated daily, so you’ll never be left wondering who’s winning the big tournaments. The professional Tournament Directors Association, or “PDA,” is the association that manages the poker rules. The PDA was founded by poker players Matt Savage, Linda Johnson, Jan Fisher, and David Lamb. It now has more than 2,500 members in 63 countries. It meets twice a year for the Poker TDA Summit, at which the rules for the game are reviewed. WSOP Tournament Director Jack Effel sits on the PDA’s board of directors.
