NFL and sportsbooks are partnering for this season’s football games. In the announcement, the NFL revealed that three sportsbooks will become the league’s official betting partners. These companies will receive access to league-owned data, and will be able to promote their relationship with the league by tying their brands to team statistics. If the deal works, the league will receive nearly $1 billion over five years, and can opt out at any time.
